Senior Pictures
Carlie got some of her senior pictures taken yesterday. She still is going to get some more though. Here are just a few of the many that were taken. I love how they turned out. She is a beautiful young woman.

Bobcat Volleyball
Lacy and Kasiah had their first volleyball game of the year on the same day, at the same time in different gyms. They both are having a lot of fun playing. Lacy is the setter on her team. She does a really good job with that, not to mention she has a killer serve. Kasiah is picking up on it really quickly under Lacy's instruction. She is really playing well too. She is so little that her teammates call her their "baby" and have even have tried to pack her around like one. If you want to learn volleyball you better stop by our house around 7-8 at night, I'm sure they'll be in the back yard practicing. Go Bobcat Volleyball!!!
Twin Falls Temple Youth Cultural Celebration
The Youth Cultural Celebration was a great success. The kids worked very hard, with a lot of practice and most days a good attitude. On the night of Saturday Aug 24th it all paid off when they saw our dear prophet Thomas S. Monson enter the stadium in Filer. It was so neat to see the faces of all the youth and their smiles. I wish I could have watched it again. I thought our stake did an excellent job with their mexican dance. Kasiah and Lacy got to do a clogging special number with the Twin Falls and Filer Stake. They did really good on that too. We even saw our old neighbors the Garrards there, which was really fun. By the time we all got home Saturday night the girls were so dusty and Lacy's feet were bleeding from blisters, but so grateful we all got to be a part of it.

Little Update
Well sorry we haven't posted for a while. We have been so busy with the fair, the Youth Cultural Celebration, getting back to school, having a garage sale, and much more! We are still alive and doing well. We did well at the fair. We only received 1 red ribbon out of the 3 pigs we showed. They didn't sell for much money though. Our prices were between 3 dollars and $3.70 a pound. The Youth Cultural Celebration was amazing, and we will soon post pictures from all of these things. It was so awesome to see the prophet and have him speak to us. It's an experience that we can never forget. Getting back to school has been okay. Everyone likes their teachers and classes, so I guess that's great! We just had a garage sale Friday and Saturday, and sold mostly everything; including our horse trailer, camp trailer, furniture, and trampoline. As far as the funeral home-- it's going up so fast. The electrician's are coming in soon. It's going to be finished before you know it. Like I said we will try and post pictures later, but that's all for now.

Swim Team Comes to an End
We have had a fun summer watching Kasiah participate in Swim Team. She is a great swimmer and has improved so much! We went to a party at Steadman's for the swim team, where Kasiah was awarded the "Team Spirit" award. She also got a swimming key chain and a certificate. Because of a huge rainstorm, we weren't able to play on the slide or anything, but we had dinner and they handed out awards. We will definitely miss going to a swim meet every weekend, but look forward to next year!
