BPA Regionals
BPA (Business Professionals of America) Regionals were today in Burley. Carlie and Lacy both competed. Carlie placed 2nd in Impromptu Speech and Lacy placed 3rd in Advanced Spreadsheet Application. They also did an Economic Research Project together but didn't place for that. They were pretty upset, because they thought they did pretty well, but are both going to state for their other events. They also get to sing the National Anthem at state, and maybe, if they're lucky, at Nationals! We are proud of them and the things they have accomplished. Way to go girls.

Little Update
Sorry I haven't blogged anything for a while. We have been sooooo busy. Two weeks ago we all went up to Nyssa Oregon for Grandma and Grandpa Savage's 50th Wedding Anniversary! It was a blast and it was so fun to see all of our family. We have also been very busy over at the funeral home. It finally opened at the end of December. Kerry has been very busy doing last minute things and getting ready for his open house on January 27. Natalie also had her 40th birthday on December 31! Boy is she getting old. Here is a picture of the Savage family at the party. Stay tuned for more pictures of December....

Christmas Card

The Morrison Family: 2008 Update
Kerry has a new funeral home scheduled to open at the first of the year; and along with the new business venture comes increasing amounts of gray hair.
Natalie is kept busy as the Burley 11th Ward Primary President, and is also kept busy worrying about Carlie’s impending absence.
Carlie is awaiting graduation this May. She is kept busy with her managerial job at Kodiak Northwest and trying to decide whether to accept the offered tuition scholarships of BYU or Utah State.
Lacy started high school this year, and proved a valuable asset to the freshman volleyball team as their most reliable setter. Half of her male peers are looking forward to her 16th birthday.
Kasiah is in seventh grade this year. She started her first year of volleyball and excelled. She is a dedicated student and drama queen, and is still all smiles, all the time.
Hayden is in third grade. He is the teachers’ pet, sports star, animal lover, and singing/dancing fool in our family—and recently made his theatrical debut on YouTube!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hayden's On YouTube
Hayden and some of his school friends performed to "Once there was a snowman" for their final Christmas program at school, after performing throughout the community. Hayden is the one in the black hat and the sun glasses. He sure can dance! Enjoy.
